About Us

Peach State SAPFM

A regional chapter of Society of American Period Furniture Makers (SAPFM) dedicated to the study, reproduction and continued use of period furniture and those techniques used

Our local group of furniture makers meets twice a year at the Atlanta Woodcraft on Holcomb Bridge Road.  We mostly invite speakers from outside the area to do a weekend program with an optional workshop on the following Monday and Tuesday.

We communicate and get together informally to discuss furniture making and woodworking in general.  We often share information on possible opportunities for woodworking events, purchases or sales of related material and museum or exhibit shows.

To learn more you can check out our future events or to sign up for our newsletter.

If you are interest in learning more, watch the video below.  It was produced for the national organization but reflects the passion we all share for SAPFM and period furniture making.
